Now that you've settled on a genre and have listed out what characters, locations and scenes you'll be designing it's time to make a inspiration sheet.
Your inspiration sheet will be a guide for what kind of look you are going for in your designs. It will help you to stick to your vision when you might be straying of your chosen path. Your sheet can have photos, concept art, architecture, illustrations and paintings, old comic strips, and blocks of color. Basically anything that you want to influence your design for the project put it on there.
